Mr. Walter Cobb, age 86, of Forrest City, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004.
Mr. Cobb was born June 19, 1918, in Forrest City, the son of Matt Cobb and Alvirva Cobb. He lived in the Forrest City area all of his life, was retired from Halstead manufacturing Co. in Wynne and was a member of the Beth Salem M.B. Church.
Mr. Cobb is survived by two daughters, Leanna Cole of St. Louis, Mo. and Rodella Taylor of Forrest City and one brother, Americus Griggs of Colt. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his wife, Mozella Edwards and a son Wallace Cobb.
Visitation for Mr. Cobb will be held on Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at 12 p.m. at Beth Salem M.B. Church with Rev. Rayfield Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
