Glenn Tracy Foltz

Mr. Glenn Tracy Foltz, age 65, of Wynne, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at his home. Mr. Foltz was born Oct. 12, 1939, in Cross County, the son of Murphy Dalton Foltz and Alma Mae Hall Foltz.

Mr. Foltz was a 1958 graduate of Wynne High School, he worked as a foreman at Addison Shoe Company in Wynne for 42 years and retired in 2000. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Wynne.

Mr. Foltz is survived by his wife, Mary Foltz of Wynne; a son, Brian Foltz of Little Rock; a daughter, Karen Ward of Wynne; two brothers, Murphy Sherman Foltz of Forrest City and John Marlin Foltz of Jonesboro; and three grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Foltz will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in Wynne. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in Wynne with Bro. Bob Fant officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Wynne.


Burl "Dick" Mull

Mr. Burl "Dick" Mull, age 83, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. Mr. Mull was the son of Frank Mull Sr. and Ealya Mull.

Mr. Mull is survived by 10 daughters, Bessie Murphy of St. Louis, Mo., Shirley Tillman of Memphis, Alice Mull of Fort Wayne, Ind., Thelma Mull, Ealay Howard, Dollie Tripplet all of Flint, Mich., Ruby King of Forrest City, Carolyn Mull, Marilyn Mull both of Chicago, Ill. and Brandi Mull of Hilton, N.Y.; six sons, Eric Mull, Neal Mull and Ulysses Mull all of Fort Wayne, Ind., Elvis Mull of Little Rock, Michael Jackson of Southport, N.Y., William G. Jackson of Terra Houte, Ind. Also, four sisters, Augusta Cooper and Archie Lee, both of Flint, Mich., Annie Jackson and Mary Jo Allen of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Frank Mull of Forrest City. He was preceeded in death by his wife Mizie Mull in 1986.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at the New Light Baptist Church at 12 p.m., with Rev. Jessie McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Garden Cemetery. Woodhouse Mortuary is in charge of all arrangements.


Willie Wilson Patton

Mrs. Willie Wilson Patton, age 90, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Crestpark Retirement Inn.

Mrs. Patton was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Haynes, the daughter of William "Bill" Wilson and Minnie Ellis Austin Wilson. She was a housewife, farmer and domestic worker.

In 1934 Mrs. Patton married Adell Patton Sr. and he preceeded her in death in 1984. She is survived by a son, Dr. Adell Patton Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Myrtel Conwell of Haynes and Everline Whitman of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Willie B. Wilson of Osceola and Overtis Wilson of Memphis; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Patton will be held on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at the Union Baptist Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Woodhouse Mortuary is in charge of all arrangements.
