Bob A. Mosley

Mr. Bob A. Mosley, age 74, of Caldwell, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Mr. Mosley was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Malden, Mo., the son of Robert Mosley and Opal Ferguson Mosley. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, was a farmer, broker and co-owner of Gilmer-Mosley Reality, was a member of the Realtors Association, the Caldwell City Council and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Mosley married Mickey Jones in 1948 and she survives him along with two sons, Robert "Bob" Mosley of Cabot and John Mosley of Pell City, Ala.; a daughter, Liz Patterson of Caldwell; two brothers, Joe Mosley of Malden, Mo. and Don Mosley of Rector; a sister, Deanna Mosley of Malden, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Mosley will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lindsey Cemetery.


Elihue Munns

Mr. Elihue Munns, age 98, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mr. Munns was born in Cotton Plant and had lived in the Bay and Jonesboro areas since 1938. He worked several years as a butcher for Broadway Packing Company and was a member of the Jonesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Munns is survived by his wife, Margaret Burns Munns of the home, a son, Paris Munns of Forrest City; four grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a child, Thelma Munns.

A memorial service for Mr. Munns will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at 3:30 p.m. in the Jonesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Mitchell Young officiating. Burial will be private.

The family requests that memorials be given to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5618 Summer Place, Jonesboro, AR 72404. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge.
