FCJH at Wynne tonight
By FRED CONLEY
T-H Sports Editor
Forrest City junior high football coach Rich Trail is looking
for a win.
He hopes to find it tonight when his Junior Mustangs take on
the Wynne Junior Bees at Yellowjacket Stadium.
"I'm just getting a little frustrated," Trail said.
"I want to get a win."
Granted, Trail is only into the second week of the 2004 season,
but he has already been saddled with two losses -- an opening
season loss to Marianna and an eighth-grade loss to West Memphis
East Tuesday.
Both games ended 16-6 in favor of the visitors.
"We moved the football well in both games," Trail
said. "We just haven't been able to break the big play when
we needed too. The effort by the players is there. Maybe we can
come together tonight."
Wynne will be looking for their first win, as well. The Junior
Bees battled Jonesboro Annie Camp to a 6-6 tie in their opener
last week.
Also tonight, Hughes Junior High will open the season by hosting
Clarendon and the P-W Junior Patriots travel to McCrory.
