WEST MEMPHIS — The Forrest City Lady Mustangs won the battle inside but West Memphis won the war Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in the 6A-East Conference.
The Forrest City Lady Mustangs improved to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the 6A-East Conference Friday night with a resounding 59-38 win over Jacksonville’s Lady Red Devils.
Larry Rogers poured in 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Monday night to lead the Forrest City Junior Mustangs to a 46-30 win over West Memphis Wonder.
Points were hard to come by on both ends of the floor Friday night at Mustang Arena in the 6A-East Conference girls’ opener between Forrest City and Searcy.
As has been the case so many times over the past two seasons, it was Forrest City’s seniors who set the pace in the 6A-East Conference opening game Friday against Searcy at Mustang Arena.
