Driver injured

An accident this morning near the 245 mile marker on Interstate 40 caused traffic congestion on the interstate and through Forrest City for several hours. Emergency crews with the Forrest City Fire Department and St. Francis County EMS work to extract the driver of one of two tractor trailers involved in the accident. No details were available this morning, but at least one person was airlifted from the scene to Memphis for treatment of injuries from the accident. Photo by Kendall Owens.
