Fire under investigation

A vacant house on South McClendon Street was destroyed this morning by fire. According to a report from the Forrest City Fire Department, firefighters were called to the home at 329 S. McClendon just before midnight. Firefighters returned to the scene just before 8 a.m., after a small blaze rekindled today. The fire is currently under investigation and no cause was listed in the report. Photo by Kendall Owens.
