Satellite radios

A Homeland Security grant is providing four satellite radios for local law enforcement and the St. Francis County Office of Emergency Management. The radios are designed to also work as phones. Zach Zitzelberger installs a receiver on the radio tower at the Forrest City Police Department. The other radios will be placed at the SFC Jail, one with OEM Coordinator Shane Dallas and the fourth will be available to deploy on the scene of a disaster or other incident. Photo by Alan Smith.
