Time to pay up

Monday is the deadline to pay 2011 personal and real estate taxes, and business at the St. Francis County Collector’s office is picking up. Residents have until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, to pay taxes without penalty. Taxes postmarked by Monday will be accepted. The collector’s office will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 26, so the office can process the mail and close out the books.
