Patrolman commended for life-saving action during morning fire

Cause of fire: An early morning fire today on Water Street could have been worse if not for a Forrest City police officer who was patrolling the area. Officer James Tucker saw the smoke from the home, kicked in the door and saved the residents. Assistant Fire Chief and fire marshall Anthony Renigar holds a bathroom exhaust fan and heater that caused the fire. The actions of a Forrest City patrolman in getting two people out of a burning house have resulted in his being recommended for a commendation.
