LC teachers strike over rejected raise

Striking: Teachers in the Lee County School District are officially on strike after a vote of the Lee County Education Association on Wednesday. Teachers and staff members began walking the picket lines this morning protesting a decision by the Lee County School Board last week to reject a pair of proposals which would have given certified and classified employee pay raises.
