Morning accident: A woman was transported to Forrest City Medical Center this morning after an accident on Interstate 40. According to a state trooper at the scene, the woman was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle as she hit some ice on the overpass at Newcastle Road. The car reportedly flipped and came to rest in the westbound lane. The Forrest City Fire Department’s rescue squad had to cut her out of the car.
