El Dorado board hires Bender as school's new AD

Postseason honors: Four Forrest City Mustang basketball players earned postseason honors Tuesday following a season which saw the Mustangs finish as runners-up for the Class 6A state championship. The four, all senior starters for head coach Dwight Lofton, are, from left: Kelson Stewart, Kellon Bowman, Marcus Britt and Stephon Weaver. All four were named to the 6A-East All-Conference Team while Weaver, Britt and Stewart were named to the All-State team. Britt and Stewart were named to the Class 6A All-Tournament team while Stewart was named the 6A-East Conference Player of the Year. Lofton, as a result of leading the Mustangs to the outright 6A-East Conference title, was named the Coach of the Year. Stewart led the team in scoring with 18 points per game while Britt led the team from the foul line, hitting 88 percent of his free throw attempts with eight rebounds per game.
