Fans of madcap comedy will want to attend Forrest City High School’s presentation of the play “The Absent Minded Professor” by L. Verne Slout on Thursday, March 7, and Friday, March 8, at 6 p.m., in the school’s Lecture Hall. The play centers around a pair of thieves who steal a statue and hide it in a cabin by a lake. What they don’t know is that a birthday party is being planned for the professor at the seemingly empty cabin. Students rehearsing for the play, from left, are: Tucker Haney as the Professor, Jordan Nosler as Snatch, Ryan Putt as Barr and Cedra Coleman as Imogene. Tickets are $3.
