Float repair: With Santaâ€™s â€œreindeerâ€ and â€œsleighâ€ in the background, Tim Astin, instructor at Crowleyâ€™s Ridge Technical Institute, and Josh Fiting, a student, do some repair work on the CRTI float. This particular float stays busy during the season. It has already been in the Brinkley Christmas parade, and will be in the Wynne Christmas parade tonight, the Forrest City Christmas Parade Friday and the Palestine Christmas Parade Saturday. Basic economics: Linda Spencerâ€™s seventh grade social studies class at Forrest City Junior High School will be holding its second annual Christmas bazaar on Friday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The bazaar is a community service project for the class, which helps teach the students about economics.
