Woman injured: Barbara Ann Williams, 55, of 925 S. Rosser is wheeled to an ambulance after a manhole cover slipped out from under her Friday morning, causing her to fall up to her arms into the hole. According to witness accounts, she was taking a garbage cart to the curb when she stepped on the manhole cover and it went out from under her. She had bruises and complained of pain. She was taken to Forrest City Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Photo by David Nichol.
