Forrest City Mustang basketball coach Dwight Lofton, left, visits with Fort Smith native, former Arkansas Razorback and NBA great Ron Brewer last week at Mustang Arena. Brewer had an outstanding career at the University of Arkansas and was known nationally as one of Eddie Sutton's Famed Triplets, alongside Sidney Moncrief and Marvin Delph. Brewer was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 1978 NBA draft and went on to play with six different NBA teams. Brewer and his son, Ronnie Jr., who represent the Woodz Elite-Arkansas AAU basketball program aimed at developing young players beginning from fifth grade through junior high, made the trip to Forrest City to watch Forrest City Junior Mustang player Terrion Burgess. Ronnie Jr., a nine-year NBA veteran, is the head coach for the 16U Woodz Elite team and is an assistant coach at Fayetteville High School.
